Job Title: CONFIGURATION ANALYST SR
Specific Description
Will serve in a lead Configuration Management role
supporting the INS STARS program. Performs CM functions:
identifies and controls configuration items;
establishes, maintains, and audits software baselines;
documents procedures and plans; performs verification
builds; ensures software development controls are
implemented; ensures customer's CM requirements are met;
advises internal customers on improvements to practices;
lead internal PIRB and support PCCB; participate in code
walkthroughs and peer reviews;
ensure changes are documented and controlled; install
code baseline in PVCS CM tool.
Candidate must have: a technical 4-year degree (computer
science preferred); 5 years minimum CM experience or a
Masters with 3 years experience.
Required:
In-depth knowledge of CM practices; experience in a CMM,
CMMI, or ISO 9001 software development environment; and
the ability to lead change. Must have the ability to
work both independently with minimal supervision and in
a team environment.
Job Title: Commercial App SW Engr

Specific Description
Provide on-site technical support in the area of
database maintenance at a customer site. Responsible for
analyzing database-related discrepancy reports and
providing resolutions; developing and incorporating
changes to custom database software; monitoring and
reporting on system performance, access and security
issues; and leading/supporting fault isolation, analysis
and correction for critical problems.
Experience using the following: SUN servers, UNIX,
Sybase, SQL, database replication to include function
strings. Working knowledge of software development
methodologies and CM process. Effective verbal and
written communication skills.
General Position Description
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs large
complex application software for purchase or outside use
by using high level programming languages C, SQLanywhere,
Visual Basic, etc.. Ensures software standards are met.
Typical Minimum Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in related
discipline with 5 years of professional experience; or 3
years of related experience with Masters degree.
